This is the final installment of my Cast Tribute for the West-Wingers. This completes the Trilogy which began with praise to the WW characters in "Let the River Run." Next came the cast and show success in "Such Great Heights." Part 3 is "Walk On." Farewell, creators, crew and cast, and characters. I know it aches, but you've got to leave it behind.

This is Part 2 of my retrospective tribute to the cast (see "Let the River Run" for Part 1 of the Trilogy). This new video shows the actors at 'such great heights' during the awards shows. In its heyday, The West Wing won 13 Emmy awards in its first season and won many more. This made it the most honored drama in its first year.
This video also shows the cast actors behind-the-scenes as they film the show (includes bloopers). Has other media clips and an award montage. Comment, please. :-)
New West Wing Groups on YouTube Hey guys, I created two new groups in YouTube. They are the first-ever West WIng-related groups on Youtube. One's for general media that relates to The West Wing or its actors in interviews, etc. The other is specifically for fan videos. If you already have an account at YouTube and have your own WW videos, why not add them to one of these groups?! Or comment on the ones you see there?
1) The West Wing http://www.youtube.com/group/thewestwing --Upload interviews, clips, behind-the-scenes and other videos that are only related to The West Wing (if the actor mentions TWW, or it was during their WW days, etc. Otherwise, if they don't discuss WW, there are other groups created specifically for that actor that you can upload to).
2) The West Wing Fanvideos http://youtube.com/group/thewestwingfanvideos This will be a place where vidders can upload their WW fan-created videos for the cast, the couples, the tributes, etc.

I've just loaded all my most recent (and when I say recent, I mean over the past six months or so) videos to Yousendit. There's one Dr Who, three Torchwood, two Heroes, one West Wing and two multifandom vids.
WW Video: "Take me back to the start" This is my first WW vid of the New Year. I have another one in the works, but that involves a lot of clip gathering and converting so it'll be awhile. I'm not sure how I feel about this final product, but here it is, and I hope you'll give me feedback.
Premise: The hallways are empty without our favorite WW staffers. Took me a long while to get empty hall footage, hopefully it works. Contains voice audios.

Vid recc Hello folks. I just found this community recently. I'm a long time fan of The West Wing and decided to do a fanvid search upon recently reviewing s1. Such a wonderful series.
I don't vid the series but a friend of mine runs a multifandom site. One of her contributors did a humor vid for all of The West Wing characters to the song "Tubthumpin" I laugh every time I watch this vid. It can be found here: Marimba26 Misc page The vid is entitled "The Smartest People".

New TWW video -- Tribute to the Cast This is my first try at doing a video withall of the West Wing characters. In honor of the November political elections here in the US, I followed what the majority wanted, according to my poll on video request. So I've finally completed this work. Pay close attention and spot some of your favorite characters!

Did you love"Desire" in King Corn as sung by Ryan Adams? I did, and wanted to use it for a fanvid, but the episode scenes were already so good that any vid had to have an extra special something. For the first time I used a full-length side-by-side effect to capture the parallel lives of Josh and Donna, and those moments when their hopes and desires finally intersected.

I assume most already saw the WW scenes, and I used slow-motion on the dual clips, so it'll be doable to follow (i.e., watch) two videos playing at once. JD apart/out-of-sync are on split-screen; JD back together on merged screen. I allowed J/D to switch left/right screen sides (no horizontal mirroring), to keep scenes as originally aired. I spent much time creating this, so I'll appreciate it if you'd please take a moment to comment & Rate the video. Feedback is love. :-)
Have made a new TWW video - not Josh and Donna this time but Josh and Leo! Yes - it very definitely isnt a romatic clip - in fact its very angsty indeed and I made it after hearing the song played on the radio and not long after rewatching the Requiem episode of TWW. I just immediately knew I had to use it.
So although the song and video are very melancholy, I hope you will see the sentiment behind them. Basically the video is from Josh's POV - its set on the day of Leo's funeral, and it has Josh reflecting on his relationship with Leo over the years, and in particularly their ups and downs in the year leading up to the Election. I really enjoyed making it - although I shed rather a lot of tears in the process - and I do hope you all enjoy watching it.
I DO have to say one thing - there is a brief glimpse of the white house gates towards the end of the piece which should not be there - however my video editing suite is temporarily out of order so I couldnt go back and re-edit the clip exactly as I wanted. I will do it at some point in the future, so you could say this is the first version - final version will follow asap.
